\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work on J6 Orthopedics unit with 32 individual patient rooms
\n• Day shift patient ratio 5:1 (6:1 stretch), night shift 6:1 (7:1 stretch)
\n• Work every other weekend
\n• Float to other Med-Surg units as needed
\n• Use electronic medical records system (Cerner)
\n• Dress code: Navy scrubs for RNs
\n• Perform dressing changes, suture/staple removal, Foley catheter insertion, NG tube placement
\n• Manage wound vacuum maintenance and removal
\n• Work with equipment including walkers, bedside commodes, bladder scanners, CPM machines, Sky lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Lift, Maxi Move, vital sign machines, hover mats, bair huggers, and wheelchairs
\n• North Carolina nursing license required
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Hospital experience preferred
\n• Orthopedic experience preferred
\n• Must be a team player with ability to adapt to fast-paced environment
