Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Food & Beverage team at Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, just outside of Charleston, SC.

Position Overview

The Host/Greeter serves as the first point of contact for guests dining at Wild Dunes Resort’s restaurants. This role is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment, managing reservations and seating, and supporting smooth front-of-house operations. The Host/Greeter ensures a positive guest experience from arrival to departure while representing the resort with professionalism and genuine hospitality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously as they arrive.
  • Manage reservations, wait lists, and guest flow using seating charts or reservation systems.
  • Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
  • Communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations.
  • Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and providing information about restaurant hours and offerings.
  • Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure smooth service and efficient table turns.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, lobby, and entryway.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Support the Food & Beverage team as needed to enhance the overall dining experience.
