Description Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist Are you looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity in accounting? A company in the Trumbull area is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to support the accounting department and Controller. This role is approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility on days and hours, as long as work is completed during regular business hours. Responsibilities: + Receive and sort Accounts Payable (AP) invoices + Match invoices to purchase orders or subcontracts + Work with vendors + Oversee the A/P sub-ledger. + Order and maintain office supplies. + Initiate vendor payments promptly and accurately. Qualifications: + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in the payables process. + Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently. + Minimum of 2 years of related experience in accounts payable or similar positions.
