Job Description
Sermons Law, PLLC is seeking a slightly used, or well-seasoned Attorney to join our Jacksonville office. We are looking for an attorney who is self-motivated, self-directed, and is expected to, eventually, self-generate business.
Finding your own clients is not required, but the ability to show potential clients the office brings to you that you care and are capable of helping is key. Basically, you have to be capable of converting potential clients into actual clients once consultations are scheduled for you. The perfect candidate will be someone looking for an exciting new challenge and to grow with the firm. He or she will have a friendly personality, but can be tough when needed. No experience necessary, but family law, estate planning, or probate experience is certainly preferred. Must be licensed to practice in Florida.
Pay: Base salary $65,000.0 - $70,000.00 per year ( plus commission ) , depending on experience level. Position ultimately will present the opportunity to create a six-figure salary upon the application of commission earnings. Over $100,000 per year is expected. Your income will be limited only by how productive you chose to be. We want you to win.
Our Jacksonville office is located in the historic San Marco area and is close to the Duval County Courthouse and a variety of nearby places to eat. The Daily's across the street is a great place to grab gas or even to get a nice lunch at their deli.
Our office culture is built on client appreciation and a desire to be of service. Our team is one that provides you the support you will need, but without the micro-management that can sometimes be overwhelming. We believe in having balance in the office. Working towards giving our clients the greatest experience they could ever hope for must be balanced with each individual's wellbeing in and outside the office.
No mandatory overtime. While most firms push for over 2,000 billable hours per year, we expect 1,040 per year.
