Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, certified Medical Assistant with pediatric experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, adaptable, and comfortable working in both the front and back office. You’ll play an essential role in supporting our physicians and ensuring our young patients and their families have a positive experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and room patients, obtain and record vitals, height, weight, and patient histories
Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits and minor procedures
Administer vaccines and perform point-of-care testing (hearing, vision, strep, flu, urine, etc.)
Manage specimen collection and documentation accurately
Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and collect payments as needed
Maintain exam rooms and ensure all supplies are fully stocked
Support with medical records, referrals, and phone triage as needed
Provide excellent communication and customer service to parents and caregivers
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) required through an accredited program (NHA, AAMA, or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience required
Proficiency with electronic medical records (experience with pediatric EMRs preferred)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, daytime hours (no weekends or late evenings)
